General

What is changing?

Effective June 30, 2026, Constellation Payments will stop boarding new merchants to Payrix. From July 1, 2026, all new merchants are boarded through CSIPay, our payment gateway.

When does this take effect?

The last day for Payrix boarding is June 30, 2026. The first day for CSIPay-only boarding is July 1, 2026.

Why are we making this change?

CSIPay has completed its production beta with three partners and over 100 merchants. The platform is ready for broader adoption across the Constellation portfolio.

Moving boarding to CSIPay gives Constellation direct ownership of the partner and merchant experience, the boarding workflow, and how the platform develops over time. The outcome is a payments product purpose-built around our partners, not a third-party processor with separate priorities.

Existing Payrix Merchants

What happens to my existing Payrix merchants?

Existing Payrix merchants are not affected by this boarding transition. They continue to process through Payrix without interruption. A migration schedule for existing Payrix merchants is being prepared and will be shared shortly.

Will existing merchants eventually be migrated to CSIPay?

Yes. A migration plan for existing Payrix merchants is being prepared and will be shared shortly with detailed timing, process, and support. This is a separate program from the new merchant boarding transition.

Do existing merchants need to do anything right now?

No action is required for existing Payrix merchants at this time. Migration details and any required actions will become available soon.

New Merchant Boarding

How do partners board new merchants on CSIPay?

In some cases, CSIPay owns the merchant relationship directly and manages the boarding application end to end. In that model, the partner does not handle the boarding link. Your Partner Account Manager will confirm which model applies to your portfolio.

In both models, the CSIPay implementation team handles compliance and risk review.

How long does merchant approval take?

Standard approval timeframe is 72 hours. This is consistent with current Payrix onboarding timing. Higher-risk profiles continue through manual review, with timing dependent on documentation and underwriting requirements.

What information do I need to provide for a new merchant?

Partners submit basic merchant lead details to initiate boarding. The merchant completes the full application directly through the secure CSIPay onboarding flow. The lead submission process and form will be shared ahead of cutover.

Can I start boarding on CSIPay before July 1?

If you have already been onboarded to CSIPay through the beta or a separate program, yes. Otherwise, your Partner Account Manager will work with you on the readiness workflow ahead of July 1.

What if I have a merchant application in flight on June 30?

Applications submitted to Payrix by end of day June 30, 2026, can complete through Payrix. From July 1, 2026, any new or incomplete applications must go through CSIPay.

Pricing and Commercial Terms

Is the pricing different on CSIPay versus Payrix?

CSIPay supports flat-rate pricing along with merchant-managed surcharging. Your commercial terms with Constellation Payments are not changed by this boarding transition. Discuss specific pricing model questions with your Partner Account Manager.

Are there any new contracts or agreements required?

No. No new commercial agreements are required for the boarding transition. Your existing terms with Constellation Payments remain in effect.

Technical and Operational

Do I need to make technical changes to my software?

No technical changes are required for the boarding transition. If you are integrating with CSIPay for the first time, the implementation team will guide you through the process.

How is reporting different on CSIPay?

CSIPay provides consolidated card and ACH reporting in a single view through the partner portal. You no longer need to navigate multiple external platforms for reconciliation.

What about my existing integration?

Your existing integration is unchanged. Due to development on our side, no effort is required from you.

Support and Training

What training is available?

Live training sessions, recorded walkthroughs, and office hours with the implementation team are available. Your Partner Account Manager will share the schedule and links.

What documentation is available?

CSIPay Boarding Quick-Start Guide, full API documentation in Confluence with search, partner FAQ, and a partner portal walkthrough.
